About Us

Who we are

F6 Solutions Group is a mission-driven joint venture providing U.S. and European innovators a disciplined pathway into U.S. Federal and public health systems.

Our team brings deep experience across military medicine, regulatory law, cybersecurity, Federal health leadership, medical technology and pharmaceutical commercialization. We help organizations navigate access, security, clinical validation, reimbursement, and operational integration.

Why F6 exists

Federal access and contracts offer significant opportunity, but they also come with complex rules, shifting priorities, and administrative burden.

Many organizations struggle not because they lack capability, but because federal systems aren’t intuitive and the process is constantly evolving.

F6 exists to remove that friction. We partner with clients to make federal access achievable, sustainable, and strategically aligned with their mission

Who we serve

F6 works with organizations of all sizes, from emerging entities seeking their first federal engagements to established contractors needing enhanced operational support.

Our goal is to level the playing field so clients can compete effectively and execute successfully.

Our approach

We don't just advise, we partner. That means:

Strategic thinking rooted in clarity and precision

Practical execution that anticipates challenges

Responsive support that keeps your organization moving forward

Every engagement begins with understanding where you are, where you want to go, and how federal opportunities fit into that path.

James Thornton, P.E., CISSP

Strategic Partner – Cyber-Physical Engineering & AI Safety

James Thornton is a licensed professional engineer and West Point graduate specializing in the resilience of cyber-physical systems. As the CEO of HealthSec Alliance, he serves as F6’s lead strategic partner for critical infrastructure resilience. James bridges the liability gap between facility operations (OT) and cybersecurity (IT), providing PE-stamped audits that validate the uptime of mission-critical systems.

Leveraging an MBA from UT Austin and an MS in engineering management, James is the architect of the HealthSec AI Trust Stack, helping healthcare leaders deploy automation without introducing physical risk. From hospital power plants to federal base utilities, he ensures digital threats never become physical mission failures.

Core Capabilities:

  • PE-Stamped Resilience Audits: Verification of cyber-physical uptime (Power, HVAC, Med-Gas).

  • Facility Cybersecurity Compliance: Expert assessments for UFC 4-010-06, HIPAA, and NFPA 99.

  • Clinical Infrastructure Architecture: Securing the grey area between IT and biomedical/OT devices

AI Safety Engineering: Liability-focused frameworks for clinical automation.

A letter from the founders

F6 Solutions Group was formed to address a persistent gap between innovation and impact.
Transformative health solutions often struggle to reach Federal and public health systems—not because they lack merit, but because adoption requires operational fluency, regulatory discipline, and trust.
We built F6 to operate inside that complexity.
Our leadership has served within the systems we support and understands what it takes for new solutions to be evaluated, secured, reimbursed, and adopted at scale. We provide structured pathways that align clinical evidence, security posture, commercialization, and execution with mission requirements.
We are selective by design. We pursue outcomes, not scale.
— The Founders,
F6 Solutions Group
